This is the second time we’ve made chocolate shortbread this week as Hayley did it for her homework and took them in for all her classmates, but today we thought we’d make some for ourselves!
Here is Hayleys instructions on how to make them and some yummy pictures aswell.
The ingredients you will need:
- 6oz of plain flour
- 2oz of caster sugar
- 4oz of baking butter
My amazing way of doing the baking is…..
Put four oz of baking butter and two oz of casting sugar into the bowl then start mixing every five seconds, get someone to pour some flour into the mixture.
Once you have mixed it with all the flour start to mix with you’re hands.
When you have mixed with your hands roll with the rolling pin and cut with the cutter.
When all of the dough is used put them in the fridge for 20 minutes and sprinklr sugar over them.
Place then in the oven and leave for around 20minutes, once golden leave them out on the side to cool down.
Melt some chocolate and dip the ends of the biscuits into it, place in the fridge to set.
These are just the most delicious biscuits ever! 😁 😋
